WWE News: WWE Hall Of Famer Ric Flair Expected To Return To ‘WWE RAW’ Tonight

Ric Flair
WWE RAW takes place LIVE in Atlanta, Georgia, tonight, and at least one man very familiar with this city will be there. Two-time WWE Hall of Famer and 16-time World Heavyweight Champion Ric Flair will appear tonight on the show. The last time Flair made an appearance on the show was around Night of Champions for a Legends Roundtable.
A bit of time before around Battleground, John Cena gave Ric Flair the World Heavyweight Championship after his segment picking him to win the Fatal Four Way match he had on the show. This was a small way of writing off this championship for WWE. However, WWE kept it around another month or so. Once Brock Lesnar beat Cena at SummerSlam, the WHC was removed from the WWE once more, and a new WWE Title was given to the Monster.
Flair coming back to WWE RAW tonight is not surprising. He is from Charlotte, North Carolina. A short trip from Atlanta, flight-wise.

Flair revealed he’d be on RAW tonight on Bruce Hart’s radio show last night, so we’re pretty sure he’ll be there.
Charlotte, Ric Flair
There has been a lot of rumors in regards to his daughter debuting on WWE TV sometime soon. Charlotte is the current NXT Women’s Champion. This did not stop Paige from debuting on RAW when she was champ. So we do not have to see Charlotte lose the title in order for her to debut. However, we can expect her to lose it to Bayley soon. There has been rumors that she would debut at some point in the next few months, before 2015. So this would be the night to do it.
One can imagine that WWE could simply have her in a segment with her dad and be roped into some sort of match with a main roster WWE Diva. There has been some speculation that Ric would manage her, but this has only been rumored. It is quite doubtful WWE would do this outside of some big event. Charlotte is one of the more talented members of developmental, so we can expect her at any time.
As for what Ric will do, that is uncertain. There is no World Title match at Hell in a Cell. Flair has also never been in a HIAC match. So him being on the show seems random and forced, unless he will be there to help set up a bigger angle for himself. This is why many think he is there to help his daughter debut. However, WWE has used Flair randomly quite often this year. So we cannot be expecting anything more right now.
